Dilution of Precision (DOP)

Used in satellite navigation and geolocation to provide the likely accuracy of a satellite-derived position.

  • High DOP Values (10-20): Show poor satellite geometry and low accuracy, making the position data less reliable.

Factors Influencing DOP
